Doctors:

Dr. Elizabeth R. Wood
Dr. Wood graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor's Degree in 2000 in Microbiology. She worked with a veterinarian for a year after graduation and then attended Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2005 with her DVM. She has a special interest in feline medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Feline Practitioners. She's worked at Crossroads since January of 2007 and bought the practice in January of 2010. Dr. Wood is proudly owned by three cats (Zoe, Onyx, Brother), one Beagle (Toby), 11 chickens, 3 ducks and soon two Nigerian Dwarf goats. Dr. Wood is available for regularly scheduled appointments on Monday evenings, Tuesday all day, Wednesday afternoons, and Friday evenings.

Dr. James A. Miller
Dr. Miller earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and a Masters in Science Education from Indiana University. In 1974, he graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine with his DVM. He has practiced in Cortland for the past 35 years and owned Crossroads Veterinary Clinic from 1985 - January 2010. His special interests are in surgery and ophthalmology. Dr. Miller currently works part-time and is available on Tuesday nights, some Wednesday mornings, Thursdays and every third Saturday for regularly scheduled appointments.

Dr. Jeremy Salvatore
Dr. Salvatore hails from New York City. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from
the University of Connecticut in 2006 in Animal Science and Pathobiology. He then
attended the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with his
DVM in May of 2010. Dr. Salvatore has special interests in veterinary dentistry and
veterinary infectious diseases. He lives with his wife, Emily, their three cats (Dexter, Pia, and Bella), a mixed breed dog (Nutmeg, pictured above) and a new addition (Delmer the hound dog). Dr. Salvatore is available for regularly scheduled appointments Monday all day, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Friday all day.
Licensed Veterinary Technician:

Jenn Caldwell
Jenn went to SUNY Delhi and earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2000, receiving her license later that year. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from SUNY Oneonta in 2002 and has been an L.V.T. at Crossroads since 2003. She's especially interested in dentistry and laboratory diagnostics.

Samantha passed away Dec. 9, 2009, at the old age of almost 21. She was much beloved for many years here.
